Prof. (Dr.) Sudhi Rajiv

Prof. (Dr.) Sudhi Rajiv is an eminent academician, visionary educationist, and one of the most respected voices in higher education, literature, and institutional leadership. A former Vice Chancellor of Haridev Joshi University of Journalism and Mass Communications, Jaipur, she has also held the additional charge of Vice Chancellor at Jagatguru Ramanandacharya Rajasthan Sanskrit University and Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Law University, Jaipur, guided each institution with dignity, reform-oriented vision, and academic rigor. With a distinguished career spanning over four decades, Prof. Rajiv has remained at the forefront of English Literature, Communication Studies, Women’s Studies, and global education policy. She is among the very few two-time Fulbright Scholars of India, having been a Senior Fulbright Fellow at Harvard University, and a Visiting Fulbright-Nehru Professor at Ohio University, USA. Her global academic engagements also include the University of Pennsylvania, Temple University, and the University of Toronto. A scholar of African American and South Asian Literature, author of the internationally acclaimed book Forms of Black Consciousness, and mentor to generations of researchers, she has also played a decisive role in education governance, curriculum reform, NEP implementation, and women’s leadership development. Honoured with multiple Lifetime Achievement Awards and the Dr. Ambedkar Fellowship Honour, Prof. Sudhi Rajiv is a natural orator, institution builder, and social conscience whose influence continues to inspire minds, shape policies, and empower futures.
