Dr Rakesh Kumar

Educator, Literary and Film Critic

Dr. Rakesh Kumar is a powerhouse in Hindi literature, language, and journalism with nearly 12 years of teaching experience. He has authored 7 books related to cinema and literature, along with over 100 research papers and articles, showcasing his deep dedication to the craft.

Dr. Kumar has conducted significant research on Hindi cinema as a Post-Doctoral Fellow with UGC New Delhi and is an esteemed member of the organizing committee for the Jaipur International Film Festival (JIFF). His outstanding contributions to literary journalism earned him the International Premchand Award in 2022 from the Indian-Norwegian Cultural Forum in Norway.

Additionally, through Credent TV's "Dear Sahityakar" program, he has engaged in insightful conversations with more than 80 renowned writers and literary personalities. Currently, Dr. Kumar imparts his knowledge in cinema, radio, and language at the Haridev Joshi University of Journalism and Mass Communication.
