This exceptional work earned him a ₹2.5 lakh cash prize from the Ministry of Finance. From 2019 to 2024, as the Mayor of Bharatpur Municipal Corporation, Abhijeet Kumar redefined urban governance with groundbreaking innovations. He implemented an integrated cleaning system, overhauled the city’s drainage infrastructure, and revolutionized urban development taxation. His tenure remains a benchmark for progressive leadership.
