Vishal Vikram Singh, born in 1987 in Varanasi, hails from Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh, where he completed his schooling up to the 12th grade. He pursued higher education at Banaras Hindu University (BHU), culminating in a Ph.D. focusing on Hindi publishers of the Renaissance period. During his student years, Vishal actively engaged in academic and cultural movements, showcasing his commitment to intellectual and social causes. His critical essays have been published in numerous esteemed literary journals, including Parichay, Sakhi, Navturiya, Sheetal Vani, Parikatha, Samakaleen Soch, and Banas Jan. He has also contributed to Doordarshan and All India Radio through several thought-provoking broadcasts. A prolific writer and cultural enthusiast, Vishal remains deeply involved in the spheres of literature and culture. Currently, he serves as a faculty member in the Department of Hindi at the University of Rajasthan.
