Farooq Afridy

Writer, Satirist, Poet, & Sr. Journalist
Farooq Afridi is an accomplished writer and journalist with a master's degree in Hindi literature from Jodhpur University (now Jai Narayan Vyas University) and a postgraduate diploma in Journalism from Rajasthan University. Literary Contributions: Farooq Afridi has written over 1,000 articles on satire and diverse topics, which have been published in numerous national and regional journals and magazines. He has also contributed extensively to children's literature through stories and poems. He served as Joint Director in the Department of Information and Public Relations, Rajasthan, and was the founding editor of the department's magazine, Rajasthan Sujas. For eight years, he contributed editorial columns as a guest editor for the daily Rashtradoot. Published Works:
