Dr. Ratna Sharma is a multifaceted personality, seamlessly blending her expertise in literature, media, and education. As a seasoned anchor and interviewer with Doordarshan Jaipur and an active participant in poetry recitals on Akashvani Jaipur, she has been a prominent voice in Rajasthan's cultural and literary circles.
Currently serving as the Head of the Hindi Department and Senior Faculty at Maharani Gayatri Devi Girls’ School, Jaipur, Dr. Sharma brings unparalleled energy and dedication to education. She is also the Secretary of the Literary Society of India (Jaipur Chapter) and has served as the Media In-Charge for the Rajasthan Lekhika Sansthan.
Her literary achievements are equally impressive. Dr. Sharma’s original works include the poetry collection O Manpakhi, the children’s poetry book Khil Utha Bachpan (funded by Rajasthan Academy, Udaipur), and Yamraj Online: Nritya Natikaon Ka Sangitamay Sansar, a collection of musical dance dramas also supported by the Rajasthan Academy. Her stories, articles, and poems have graced numerous literary journals and magazines.
Dr. Sharma’s talent has earned her several accolades, including the Nari Gaurav Samman, Yuva Sahityakar Samman 2019, and recognition by the Rotary Club Jaipur on Teachers’ Day 2021. She also won first place in the "Nari Kabhi Na Haari" story competition organized by Nari Lekhika Sahitya Sansthan.
